Instruction:

I use the bike to go to work, but to go shopping I use a car.

Ich fahre überall mit dem Auto hin, weil der öffentliche Nahverkehr zu lange dauert.

I go by car everywhere because the public transport takes too long.

Ich nehme das Fahrrad, weil es in meiner Stadt viele Radwege gibt.

I take the bike because there are many cycle lanes in my city.

Ich nehme immer die U-Bahn. Es ist der schnellste Weg für mich.

I think electric cars are very good because there are sustainable.

Das ist praktisch! Ich nehme meistens den Bus, weil es schneller geht.

That's practical! I usually take the bus because it is quicker.

Benutzt du auch manchmal die Straßenbahn?

Do you also sometimes use the tram?

Ab und zu, aber meistens ist der Bus pünktlicher und näher an meinem Büro.

Every now and then, but mostly the bus is more punctual and closer to my office.

Example 1

Kennst du E-Scooter? Ich finde sie sehr praktisch in der Stadt.

Do you know e-scooters? I find them very practical in the city.

Ja, vor allem wenn das Wetter schön ist. Sie sind schnell und emissionsfrei.

Yes, especially when the weather is nice. They are fast and emission-free.

Aber bei Regen nehme ich lieber den Bus oder die Bahn.

But in the rain, I prefer to take the bus or the train.

Das stimmt, Sicherheit geht immer vor.

That's right, safety always comes first.

Example 2

Welche nachhaltigen Transportmittel nutzt du in der Stadt?

Which sustainable modes of transport do you use in the city?

Ich benutze oft Carsharing, wenn ich längere Strecken habe.

I often use car sharing when I have longer distances to travel.

Carsharing ist eine gute Lösung, um weniger Autos zu haben.

Example 1

That is environmentally friendly and also fun!

Oder sollen wir den Bus nehmen, falls das Wetter schlechter wird?

Or should we take the bus in case the weather gets worse?

Das ist eine gute Idee, so sind wir flexibel.

That is a good idea, this way we are flexible.

Wie möchtest du zum Konzert fahren?

How would you like to get to the concert?

Ich finde die Straßenbahn ideal, weil sie oft fährt und umweltfreundlich ist.

I find the tram ideal because it runs often and is environmentally friendly.

Das ist praktisch. Ich könnte auch mit dem Zug kommen.

That's practical. I could also come by train.

Dann treffen wir uns gleich am Bahnhof, das ist doch unkompliziert.

Then we'll meet straight away at the station; that's uncomplicated.
